We haven’t had a Peru on our menu for quite sometime but we really loved this on the cupping table and are happy to have it on the Showcase menu. This is a very comfortable drinking Peru with a silky body, citrusy acidity and sweet finish. It’s almost a cup of chocolate to be honest. We love the dried fruit notes that remind us of dates or molasses. It is a very versatile and cozy cup to sit down with. Grab some while we have it!

This is our Honey Processed line of coffee from Finca La Pastora in Santa Maria de Dota, Costa Rica. This is a farm we have worked with for a few years, specifically for their honey process, and a farm we have been to numerous times during our trips to Costa Rica.
If you aren’t familiar with a honey process, it is basically a mix between the washed and natural processes. The cherry skin is removed after being picked and what is left is laid out in the sun, for sun drying. This particular honey process is called a “black honey,” meaning that the mill leaves as much fruit on the parchment as possible prior to drying. This gives the coffee its big fruity notes, such as blackberry, plum and cherry.
This is a decadent coffee with a creamy mouthfeel, layered chocolatey notes and ripened berries. This coffee works great for drip or espresso.
