Our Story
Backporch Coffee Roasters started on a skateboard, in an alley, in Eugene Oregon. You could smell coffee roasting down the block while skate contests were being held and coffee was roasted on Dave’s backporch.
Owner and operator, Dave Beach was born and raised in Bend, Oregon and has been buying & roasting coffee for 18 years. Dave is passionate about bringing the best out in coffees and people, making sure that those who grow the coffee & those who serve it, are compensated fairly for their work throughout.
From seed to cup, coffee is a crop that requires hundreds of hands to make it complete. Backporch is committed to excellence in each step of the process and we have direct trade connections in Central America, South America and Africa that we work closely with to accomplish a high level of excellence.
Roasted on a beautiful Loring Falcon, we cut no corners to bring you what we feel is the very best and we are incredibly proud of that. We hope you love our coffee just as much as we do and look forward to continue bringing out the best in coffee & people.
