We are a micro-roasting company and cafe in Bend, Oregon specializing in direct trade, microlot, fair trade, and organic coffees of exceptional quality. We want to make your morning cup more than a bitter brew to get your caffeine buzz, we want to enliven your taste buds. We are coffee people, and we're not ashamed to be called obsessive, or even a little crazy. We are utterly sold out to the dream of the perfect cup, and on any day you'll hear slurping, sniffing, and see visible jitters from our staff at Backporch all because we love finding the beauty of our coffees, with all their subtle nuances and flavors, and passing it on to you. Our freshly roasted coffee can be found at the following markets around Bend: Newport Ave. Market, Whole Foods, Nature's and Riley's Market.

News: Dave and Jeremy had an amazing time in Costa Rica with the great folks at Hacienda La Minita. They brought back stories, pictures, and a deeper appreciation for those who grow and process the coffee we drink. It also invigorated us to search even harder for the best, most responsible coffees we can find.  One of these coffees we're very excited about is the Burundi Kibingo. Burundi is a relatively new origin that's been causing quite a stir lately, and it's apparent why from the first sip: floral, citrus, spice, and fruit. It's so delicious, we can't wait to bring this in season, fresh coffee selection to you.
